Core Competencies

  1. Strong knowledge of basketball fundamentals, skill development, and competitive team systems

  2. Ability to plan and deliver structured, high-intensity practices focused on player development

  3. Proven leadership skills with the ability to motivate, mentor, and develop young athletes

  4. Excellent communication with players, parents, and coaching staff

  5. Effective game-day coaching, including rotations, adjustments, and performance evaluation following OBL rules

  6. ​Organized, reliable, and professional - able to follow club standards, policies and competition schedule

  7. Prior competitive coaching or playing experience (coaching certification an asset)
